KAE (Kazakhstan Aselsan Engineering) was established for the development and production of products and systems in the field of communications and information technologies, radar and electronic warfare, electro-optics, avionics, weapon systems, modernization, command control systems, transport, security, highway toll collection, automation, biomedical and health equipments. KAE cooperates with domestic and foreign organizations to meet the needs of domestic and foreign customers.

History

May 26, 2010: The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the President Republic of Turkey agreed on the establishment of a joint venture in defense industry between the two countries which was held at KADEX 2010 international arms exhibition in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Feb. 18, 2011: JSC NC Kazakhstan Engineering and the company ASELSAN Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Republic of Turkey) signed a partnership agreement.

May 13, 2011: Kazakhstan Aselsan Engineering LLP (KAE) was established.

May 4, 2012: The construction work began at the facility in the territory of the Special Economic Zone in Nur-Sultan.

Dec. 13, 2013: Production began.
